Rubber Roofing

There are basically two different types of rubber roofing;

Whole Roof Rubber Roofing: This type of rubber roofing system is custom-made to suit your house, and is usually sold by the square which is capable of covering around 100 square feet of your roof.

Because whole roof rubber roofing system does not require any seams, it is highly impossible that you will develop any sort of leak in your roof system as this robber roofing is designed to completely waterproof your roof.

Shingles Roof Rubber Roofing: This type of rubber roofing is made of synthetic materials and is easier to handle because it is very light weight, and can be formed or shaped very easily using an ordinary utility knife.

These shingles will have to be installed by a professional roofing contractor because they have to be installed in the same manner as wood or asphalt shingles. Rubber roofing is a very light but durable material that is usually made of recycled materials, which do not require much maintenance.

Rubber proofing materials are quite capable of withstanding severe outdoor temperatures such as heavy snow, high winds and rain, and heat, and they are also capable of providing adequate insulation to your home in keeping it warm in the winter and cooler in the summer months.

Rubber roofing can be easily repaired with patches and adhesive, or they can be repaired using liquid rubber products which are easy to apply. You simply apply this liquid rubber to any splits on your roofing and it will dry and get hard very fast sealing the splits in the process.
