When you decide on replacing cabinets in your kitchen you will have to decide what type of cabinet you want to replace your old cabinets with.

Replacing Custom Cabinets are the most expensive type of cabinets, but they offer much more potential for you to have that special cabinet that you have been thinking about for years.

The possibilities that this type of cabinet offers is almost unlimited, when it comes to your choice of design, color, style, materials, finishes and sizes.

This type of cabinet will give your kitchen a unique appearance that would definitely reflect your own individual personality and will certainly be admired by many.

As the name implies custom built, these types of kitchen cabinets can be designed to suit any type of kitchen, no matter the size or shape. Also you get to be the designer and decide what sort of door handles, drawer knobs, finishes, drawer glides etc. that you would like, it is totally up to you to create the design of your dreams.

Replacing Semi-Custom Cabinets do not offer as many choices as Custom built cabinets, but they do allow you some options such as choosing the type of door styles, finishes, color, extension drawer glides and display shelves.

This type of cabinet is totally interchangeable; it allows you to mix and match door styles, drawer size, hardware and finishes of your choice.

This type of cabinet is less expensive than the Custom built cabinets but they still offer a variety of personal changes which can produce a stunning finished cabinet design that are almost as unique as the Custom built cabinets.

Replacing Stock Cabinets are by far the least expensive type of cabinets, and these can be readily available in a variety of styles, colors and sizes at most furniture stores.

These cabinets can only be customized minimally, but they are ideally suitable for someone who just needs some extra cabinet space at a very low cost.
