Quilting Fabrics

Quilting fabrics has come a long way from the olden days when fabrics were very limited, and quilters had to use scraps of materials to make quilts or sometimes they would use pieces of scrap from old clothes belonging to their husbands or children.

Also the best quilting fabric that was available in those days was silk, which was very popular, as women would make quilts from scraps from weeding dresses etc., and colors such as blue and white were also very popular because they werereadily available.

In today's modern world there are literally hundreds of quilting fabrics to choose from.

Some of the fabrics that are available are:

Romantic/Flora Quilting Fabric, Batik Quilting Fabrics, Modern Quilting Fabric, Oriental Quilting Fabric, 1930s Reproduction Quilting Fabrics, Art Inspired Quilting Fabrics, Conversational Quilting Fabric, Pre 1930s/Reproduction Quilting Fabrics, Novelty Quilting Fabrics, Seasonal/Holiday Quilting Fabrics, Sports Quilting Fabrics, Landscapes and Nature Quilting Fabrics, Flannel/Brushed Cotton Quilting Fabrics and lots more.
