Membrane Roofing

In order to avoid windy rain and ice dam leaks on your roof you will have to install a membrane roofing which is basically a rubberized membrane that goes under the shingles of your roof to prevent water penetration.

This membrane consists of a one piece roofing system that is designed to waterproof your roof. Windy rain can cause sloped roof covering to shift and lift, cause rain to be driven under your roof covering to the unprotected areas of your roof deck, which can cause leaks and damage to the inside of your house.

Ice dams are formed when the warmth from inside the house melt the bottom layer of snow that is on your roof, causing water to drain down the edge of the roof. When this water gets exposed to cold air it will freeze immediately, causing clogs to gutters and causing the water behind it to form a pool and possible find its way into your house through the shingles.
