Installing Down Spouts Drain Lines

To install down spouts drain lines you will have to dig trenches to accommodate these pipes.

These trenches should be dug deep enough to allow the lines to be installed in a downward slope in order for the water to flow.

Also when digging the trenches they should be dug so that they will end up as far away as possible from your foundation.

When installing your underground drainage system you will have to attach the pipes to the fittings in a 90 degree angle and install several pipes that will have to be connected to the main pipe through channel drains, or downspouts.

After the pipes have been installed in the trench you will have to put plastic sheeting in the reservoir to keep it from getting clogged from the soil.

When you are satisfied that all the pipes are attached securely to the fittings and the plastic sheeting is in place, you can now start to backfill the trenches in order to cover the pipes and level the trenches.
