Baby room Decoration

Getting started is the hardest. There are several factors which need to be considered while one is planning for baby room decoration. Few points which should always be taken care of are mentioned below-

Baby bedding -
As with any textile product - be it fashion wear, upholstery, or bedroom furnishings, quality of crib bedding is often defined by its fabrics. There are many factors that should be considered in determining whether a fabric is premium-grade or not. While the differences may not be apparent at first glance, they can be very important for long-term durability and overall appearance. Some of the factors are like thread-count, pre-washed and brushed.

Crib-
If we talk about a good crib for baby, parents usually have two choices; a conventional drop-side crib, or the recently introduced cribs that can be converted into kid bed/ full size bed. When we discuss the usability of the two, obviously convertible crib wins as it can be converted into a full sized bed as baby grow up.

Baby room wall paint/ color -
Instead of using white or conventional colors on walls, one should always incorporate exciting painting techniques while thinking baby room decoration. Perfect color combination between the color of the primary wall, accent wall or ceiling would give baby room a professional look without a designer expense.

Apart from baby room decoration ideas, one should always keep in mind a few basic safety considerations.

While talking cribs, the spaces between slats should not be more than 2-3/8 inches apart; this would prevent baby's head getting stuck in between.

There should not be any paint/ color/ polishing material used in the crib which is toxic in nature.

There should not be any corner post in the crib which would be detrimental for baby's soft skin.

Screws, bolts etc. should be in tight position for better and long lasting support.

Always avoid electrical outlets, wall paintings, hanging decor within child's reach.

One should be especially careful about installation and hardware choices when windows are in close proximity to cribs, beds, or other furniture. For example, an iron or electronic / electrical appliances near a window can appeal a child to grab or pull on cords, or twist mini-blind slats. Last but not the least, while planning for a baby room decoration, safety comes first, however style and fashion are a close second.
